One of my favourite sayings when I was on the safari. It’s not close enough if I can’t see their eyes! That was true of any animal or bird I was looking to photograph. It’s also true of people as well.
There are exceptions of course. Some of the people pictures I take are definitely not ones where you can see their eyes, but, that’s a different story!
HELLO NAGUIB & DONNA THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH FOR THE LOVELY CAPTURED MOMENTS THAT ARE SOME THING TO BEHOLD. I VERY MUCH ENJOY SEEING YOUR FABULOUS PHOTOS. IF YOU HAVE MORE IN YOUR COLLECTION, AND TIME PERMITS YOU, PLEASE FORWARD THEM ALONG ! BEST REGARDS NINI

Fabulous photos! And I feel I know you better since all this text arrived. Of course we anthropomorphize animals but to.suggest they do not have emotions similar to ours would be to be blind. Was at Royal Botanical Gardens with grandkids 13 and 11 yesterday and bought a book: Beyond Words – What Animals Think and Feel by Carl Safina. Will try to submit captions. The eyes tell.so much or suggest in these photos of animals and people. Bravo Naguib.
